Curriculum Integration - 25 Points


Goal:

Students learn strategies for using educational software, apps and web 2.0 tools integrated into the curriculum as a way to differentiate instruction for all learners and ensure access to reading and writing. Students are introduced to Universal Design for Learning and will explore models of technology integration.

  1. Universal Design for Learning Investigations Differentiating Resources Assignment (5 points)
  2. Curriculum Integration Investigations & Discussion (5 points)
  3. UDL/CI Project (15 Points)

Investigations will begin in class and students will continue on their own online between class meetings.

In class, throughout the Introductory presentation, we will explore the following together:


Edpuzzle and Educanon - For adding comprehension questions and scaffolded supports to video.
Plickers - For low-tech "Clickers" using paper codes and a phone/iPad
Actively Learn - For adding comprehension questions and scaffolded supports to any text/files.
www.polleverywhere.com - For using user phones/devices to answer questions.
